The Association Culture et Bibliothèques pour Tous de la Marne is organizing a book sale on rue des Élus in Reims. This event open to all will be organized in front of the library.
« This allows us to make ourselves known, to open on Saturdays because we are usually closed. This is an opportunity for us to buy new books. The literary back-to-school period offers us a large range of new books,” explain Catherine Bourreux, association volunteer. “Our small premises does not have the capacity to accommodate new books without this clearance sale ».
Beyond helping the library, the main objective is to please reading lovers (and not just them). “ The books we sell come either from our fund […] or they are books that we were given. There are art books, cookbooks, novels, children’s books, paperbacks and many others. We really have a lot of choice. The prices offered are very low. They range from 1 to 2 euros even for the most recent books, except for a few books which are 8 euros maximum ».
Meet at 8, rue des Élus from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday October 12 without interruption.
