“She dreamed of other skies and other mornings”, by Christian Signol

Consecrated in 2015 as one of the ten favorite novelists of the French, Christian Signol was born in Quercy and lives in Brive, in Corrèze. Two veins in his work: that of the great popular sagas in several volumes (from La Rivière Espérance to Messieurs de Grandval via Les Vignes de Sainte-Colombe, Prix des Maisons de la presse 1997) and that of more intimate works, stories or novels, such as Childhood Joys, The Big Island, They Dreamed of Sundays or Why the Sky is Blue. For thirty years, its success has not been denied. His books have been translated into fifteen languages.

But Germany ignites and Hitler conquers power. Forced to return to , upset by this separation, Clémence valiantly takes over the family farm before joining the Resistance. From then on, she never stopped looking for Franz and Ludwig, of whom she had no further news.
