a book will be released in November

Members of the Mémoires yvéennes association have co-created a book, Yvré au fil de l’Huisne. Presented at the general meeting on Tuesday October 9, it will therefore be released next month.

Chaired by Jean-Luc Fontaine, Mémoires yvéennes’ mission is to share and transmit municipal heritage. The association, which is entering its third year of existence, is concretizing some of its research into a book. La velue, a legendary creature, takes the reader along the Huisne (from Parence to l’Épau) to meet residences, mills and other heritage on its courtyard between texts and photos of old postcards.
