“In 2023, we had not offered this sale of declassified books, explains Yvette Marçais, the director of the media library. We were busy installing ourselves in our new premises on rue Saint-Denis. We had a big sale in the fall of 2022. There, with these two days of sales, we are getting back to our habits. And we set out to do it every year. It’s a necessity. »
Every year, the Pays Sabolien media library needs to clean out its shelves a little. “We must remove obsolete books, those which no longer correspond to what we want to offer in our content” specifies the director.
One euro per document
For this biblioccaz’2024, novels and thrillers are offered as well as comics, manga, literature for adults or young children, and magazines as well. There is something for everyone. “Price-wise, it’s one euro per document, underlines Yvette Marçais. We also have lots, of magazines for example, which we offer at one euro for ten. »
Hours of operation. Friday October 11, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Saturday October 12: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
