Videographer Nota Bene signing a book in Clermont-Ferrand for his book “Les Samouraïs”

Benjamin Brillaud aka Nota Bene is going on tour to meet his audience and sign his new work “Les Samouraïs”.

He is one of the best-known popularizers of History on the internet. Benjamin Brillaud, aka Nota Bene, will stop off in Clermont-Ferrand for the tour of his new book. After “The Vikings” which sold more than 20,000 copies, another mythical figure is addressed in this new work entitled “The Samurai”.

Nota Bene will come to meet the Clermontois public Saturday November 2 from 3 p.m. at the FNAC store at the Center Jaude. The event is free, but access will be subject to availability.

A trip to medieval Japan

To write his new work, Benjamin Brillaud surrounded himself with experts in the field. Eight French and Japanese authors helped the videographer to create “Les Samouraïs”. Through nine chapters, it looks back on the appearance of this caste, its habits and customs, its evolution and until its disappearance. The aim is to study the cultural heritage of this period in a fun and documented way.

The book is already available for sale. An opportunity to read it before meeting its author.
