The Quiberon media library is adorned in pink to show its support for Pink October, the campaign intended to raise awareness of breast cancer screening and to raise funds for research. The 24 members of the Les Chevalets de la Peinture association exhibit creations that they have made specially.
“We had already exhibited at the media library on the theme of the Olympic Games,” explains the president of the association, Dominique Ulvé Le Guitton. Being also secretary of the Kiberen Nordic walking association, which is renewing the Quiberonnaise on October 20, the charity walk for the benefit of the League against cancer, I suggested to the members of the Chevalets that we mobilize in our own way. Everyone joined in.”
Pastelle, watercolor, acrylic, collages… Multiple techniques and styles are presented.
“The entire media library will turn pink,” adds Réjane Allanic, the director of the media library. We will highlight all the works whose cover, title or author’s name have a connection with this color. »

Exhibition from October 4 to 26 at the media library. Free entry Tuesday and Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
