Pascal Marmet at the Book Fair

Boussac. Pascal Marmet presents his commissioner. The 6th e The book fair, organized by the Festival Committee which took over from La Culture sort des Champs, brought together 42 exhibitors in the multipurpose hall.

Among them, Pascal Marmet presented several works and paperbacks, giving one of his characters Creuse origins. He always wanted to write and, as a result, chose a literary path. Here he is now a full-fledged author with from time to time another job: radio columnist.

A few years ago, Pascal Marmet met a former police commissioner from 36 Quai des Orfèvres and the conversation turned to “affairs”. Pascal listened carefully and little by little, inspired by these real facts, his character came to life, and the novel could begin.

The first opus, “Execution”, was followed by a second which had as investigator Commissioner François Chanel, hence the title “Commandant François Chanel”. And there, we learn that this commissioner has Creuse roots since he is originally from Aubusson, a town that Pascal knows for having spent many holidays there. A third opus followed called “Seine Criminelle” at M + Éditions.

Pascal Marmet is also, among other things, the author of “Le Roman du parfum” and “Le Roman du café”, both bestsellers published by Editions du Rocher.
