A Beaumont, Texas resident got quite the surprise when a police officer showed up at her front door to deliver her meal, after the delivery man was arrested.
The event occurred late Sunday afternoon.
The video, captured by a surveillance camera and a copy of which was obtained by CNN, shows the officer knocking on the door of a residence with a meal and drinks in his hand.
“Why is a police officer delivering my food?” the owner of the house asked immediately when she answered the door.

“The driver who was supposed to deliver your food has a warrant out for his arrest,” the officer replied. “So I’m taking him to jail, but I wanted to make sure I completed the delivery.”
In a Facebook post, Beaumont Police shared the video, adding that “our police department delivers the goods.”
No information has yet been made public on the nature of the arrest warrant issued against the delivery man.
