OM had sensed the right move last summer by managing to sign Neal Maupay from Everton. The striker is gradually gaining his place and seems fulfilled on the Canebière.
OM have been making strong progress since the start of 2025. Roberto De Zerbi's men are more than ever second in Ligue 1. The objectives are also high in the Coupe de France but to get through the round of 16, they will have to come to end of Lille this Tuesday evening at the Stade Vélodrome. All Marseille individuals will have to respond. And Neal Maupay is concerned. As the weeks went by, the former Everton player gained points in the eyes of Roberto De Zerbi and OM fans. Maupay gets a lot of people in agreement at OM

It’s nice to see OM playing ball like this”. Note that the Marseille squad could be further strengthened in the coming weeks. The Phocéens want in particular a left piston and midfielder. Nicola Zalewski of Roma is announced very close to arriving in Marseille. Concerning the midfield, we will have to show ingenuity.
