Michèle Cotta, a figure in political journalism, delivered in The last greats (Plon), her latest work, an intimate account of the beginnings of the left in power, from 1981 to 2002. Between bold reforms and economic challenges, the journalist reveals the backstage of power, she analyzes decades of the Republic where truths and secrets 'interlace.

Gilles Boyer changes register. European deputy and loyalist of Édouard Philippe, he turned into a novelist with Petit- (JC Lattès), a fiction that goes back to 1962. What if the attack against de Gaulle had succeeded? Between uchronia and suspense, politics rewrites History and questions the fragilities of power.
