340 publishing houses at the 2024 International Children’s and Youth Book Fair

Initiated by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication at the Anfa Park space in Casablanca, this edition of which Wallonia-Brussels Federation (Belgium) is the guest of honor and perpetuates the positive impact achieved by the 1st edition, thus contributing to expanding the cultural offer of the city as an economic capital and international cultural destination, indicates the ministry in a press release.

The 2nd edition provides for a cultural program intense and diverse with 7 entertainment spaces housing 405 workshops with an average of 45 workshops per day and four other spaces organizing 66 cultural activities for the benefit of young painters and writers with a view to integrating them into the book industry for children and young people.

The program also offers workshops and training sessions and a program dedicated to executives of the Ministry of National Education in the field of school library management, in addition to a series of awareness programs initiated within the pavilions of the institutions participating in this edition.

Ce Salon aims to bring closer to younger generations and encourage them to read, to support the book industry, to promote the image of economic capital as a cultural destination, to offer young readers a Moroccan cultural capital et international.
