In total, 165 people celebrated the 70the anniversary of the Secular Association of Plescop (Morbihan), in the multipurpose room, Saturday November 30, 2024. The association's office, mayor Loïc Le Trionnaire, his deputy Pierre Le Ray, former presidents of the association, new and old volunteers and many friends and parents of students were gathered. In particular, they were able to see an exhibition on the history of public schools.

Manlee Ng Liet Hing presented the new president Sabrina Ménager, as well as the new office elected since the end of September. Yannick Quinio, outgoing president for the last two terms, retraced the significant events since 1954, and warmly thanked the volunteers. Sylvie Troulé, daughter of Gérard Troulé, spoke about the career of her father, who was president of the ALP for 25 years.

Paul Jaffrennou, vice-president of the association, presented the book retracing the history of the Secular Association. It will be presented at the media library, at the same time as the exhibition devoted to the history of the ALP, from December 17, 2024 to January 2, 2025. Some works are still available for sale.

The Secular Association will have its stand at the Christmas market, Place Marianne, Sunday December 8.
