Saturday December 7, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., for the third year in a row, the municipal council room will resemble a large bookseller. Indeed, the La Chartre Book Fair presents its 3e edition. Since 2022, it has welcomed around twenty authors, writers, novelists, cartoonists, storytellers, poets, editors of tourist guides, among others – booksellers, publishers and journalists will also be there and will present their publications.

In parallel with this 3e La Chartre book fair, the Nocogo bouquinerie gallery, located 25, rue Nationale, invited several authors of novels and publishers of rare collections.
As for the Maison du tourisme et du vigne, which opened this summer at 13, place de la République, it brought in Pierrick Bourgault, journalist and author of books on bistros, wines and other gourmet delights. He is offering a book signing talk from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. From November 25 to January 5 with Pierre Josse, he exhibited color and black and white photographs “Au Bonheur des Bistrots” on the gates of Buttes Chaumont and Aux Caves Populaires 22, rue des Dames (Porte Clichy) in Paris. And, there was one that he took… at the La Chartre tavern.
