Acquired by the German giant Cewe in 2019, WhiteWall nonetheless remains an independent brand that highlights a very broad offering of high-end photographic products. Via its website available in several languages, it is possible to produce direct prints or laminated prints on a wide variety of supports.
Plexi, aluminum, Forex, wood: the offer is ample knowing that the laboratory offers 12 Fine Art Hahnemühle, Canson and Epson papers for pigment proofs. He also prints on black and white baryta silver paper. Its know-how is also evident in its offer of a wide variety of tailor-made frames.
The photo Books are all gathered in the Beau-livre section, whose offer is not cluttered with exotic formats. A4, A3 and two square formats (29 x 29 cm and 20.5 x 20.5 cm) are offered, all with a choice of six different papers. There are three satin, glossy and ultra-glossy prints that WhiteWall describes as inkjet (without us being able to find out which machine was used, so whether it is indeed inkjet or digital press, namely laser printing) and three traditional Fuji Crystal Archive photo papers, glossy, satin and deep matte (370 g/m² Velvet paper).
WhiteWall only offers hard, glossy, satin matte or printed linen covers, with the possible addition of a transparent, silver, gold or pink selective varnish (exclusively via downloadable software). The laboratory also allows you to choose the color of the cover page or the back cover.
On the home page of the Beau-livre section there is a summary table of the available options, unfortunately incomplete and which deserves an update. Whitewall also offers a Sample Pack for €19.95 (excluding shipping costs) including the different variants of covers, endpapers and inkjet and photo papers to help customers in their choices. This pack is refunded (excluding shipping costs) in the form of a voucher.
