The public was present in large numbers on Sunday, November 24, for the 6th Book Fair organized by the Le Hibou reader association in Viols-le-Fort. The activities were a great success, particularly the manga workshops. Jean-Philippe Hardy, writer from Viols-le-Fort, presented his historical, fantastic and biographical detective novels, as well as his latest work, Is life a dream or an illusion?a dreamlike novel where he transcribed his dreams as soon as he woke up: “I was pleasantly surprised to see that so many people came today, we still find people who are sensitive to reading, so much the better for us.”
Children’s literature was also well represented, with Emmanuelle Figueras, animal journalist, who presented her Books for children (6-12 years old) on nature, animals and ecology. Illustrated by Isabelle Wlodarcsyk, her works include an album of short stories to read in the evening, co-written with the latter. Emmanuelle also speaks in schools, not only to talk about her books, but also to raise awareness among young people of the importance of respecting nature and understanding ecology, so that they can then share these values.
