Books: 12 stories of women

After The liqueur of the five herbs published in 2008, subtitled Nouvelles d'autreviens du Forez-Velay-Vivarais, they wrote 4 more novels and short stories together before Francine's death in 2016. Since then, our author has taken up the pen alone to write her first novel in 2019 Les Accordailles the story of a young woman, Souveraine, from a wealthy peasant family in the shortly before and during the First World War in the Pilat mountains and the Forez plain.

This novel will be followed 3 years later by At Fagotine which tells us the story of a little orphan from entrusted to her grandmother La Fagotine, a peasant from Thélis-la-Combe in the 1930s.

Today she publishes her work Gasparine with subtitles and other stories of women again and again. She tells 12 stories of women in 8 towns in the canton and 4 neighboring towns Annonay, Saint-Etienne, Saint-Marcel-lès-Annonay and the Ondaine valley.
