It’s a kind of grand oral that they are going through Cécile Pin, Joséphine Tassy et Matteo Porru in front of the high school students gathered in front of them this Friday. The objective for these three writers: to win the high school students' prize, a title which will look great on their CV. Their latest novel was given at the start of the school year to students from several classes at the Woillez and Sainte-Austreberthe high schools in , Lavezzarri, in Berck, the Touquet hotel high school and the Jules-Verne and Saint-Joseph high schools in Etaples.

Sharing works, not an easy task

The three works have been read and now high school students can put a face to the authors. Especially since now we will have to decide. In each class, the readers designated three of theirs to designate the novel that had the most impact on their consciences: “ We're not going to lie, reading in my class isn't that. But this novel said one, pointing to one of the works, we all devoured it. Even those I've never seen open a book. »

“It’s the style that will make the difference”

Some have been thrown off by an author's bias. Others, on the contrary, adhere to it completely. Opinions are reasoned but divided. After an hour of deliberations, we will have to choose. The name of the winner will be made public this Saturday at 3 p.m..
