8,000 visitors are expected from Friday to Sunday at the Salle des 4 Saisons in Le Touquet for the 44th edition of the book fair. The guest of honor this year is Annie Degroote, author from Hazebrouck. 6 literary prizes will be awarded including a British Polar Prize. A children's center has been created for the youngest.
Daniel Fasquelle, the mayor of Le Touquet, wanted this 44th edition to immerse authors and readers in a magical festive atmosphere:
The salon opens its doors Friday at 9 a.m. More than 1,500 students from Berck, Etaples, Hesdin, Montreuil sur mer will meet authors.
