Since the beginning of the week, the people of Sébastien have been able to see, look at and smile at the photos exhibited on the Gare-d’Anjou alley. It is the work of Clémentine Mélois, visual artist, writer, teacher of Fine Arts.
She carried out research on language in the Oulipo group, of which she is a member. In this context, she diverted book covers, either by modifying the title: Father and gay (instead of War and peaceby Tolstoy), or by modifying the name of the author: Saint Exaspéré (instead of Saint Exupéry); either by creating a link between the name of the author and the title: Breton, Kenavo, or by other processes. The effect produced is funny and everyone will appreciate it according to their literary knowledge. For the most keen, Clémentine Mélois’ book is available at the Maison de la presse.
Until November 26, Anjou station alley. THE Wednesday November 13 and 20, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., “writing like a game” workshops for children aged 8 to 12. Free on reservation at 02 40 80 86 20. Saturday November 23, at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., guided tours of the exhibition.
