The festivals « Holiday » is back for the 12th edition, in Beaumont-sur- (Sarthe), the Sunday November 16, 2024in the leisure and culture room.

And the program is busy for this new edition. As for the authors, no less than thirty authors will be presentas well as five publishers in all styles, as declared by Nicolas Bouchereau, member of the livreenfêtes72 association, which organizes this event. “There is something for everyone, thrillers, comics, manga, new romance… everyone will find what they are looking for.”

A big program

But that won't be all, other activities are also planned from 10:15 a.m., with the “baby readers” workshopat 11 a.m. a “Bernard Pivot” dictation for adults, in homage to the man of letters and television.

In the afternoon, the young people will stick to the dictation, with this originality that it will be slammed!

Two companies will present their family shows to youthe Cet eté company, and the Tétrofort company. A conference by Frédéric Payraudeau, a regular at the show, will be given on the theme “The Gods of Egypt”. At the end of the afternoon, prize giving for dictations, for the strongest in spelling.

There will also be childcare available during the show as well as light catering which will be offered by the Florence Aubenas APE.

“We hope for a lot of visitors, of course like other years, but the main thing for us is that each visitor leaves satisfied with their visit, and I also take this opportunity to of course thank the municipality for their support”, still according to Nicolas Bouchereau.

See you on Sunday, November 16 in Beaumont-sur-Sarthe for this 12th edition of the “Books in Festivals” festival, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the leisure and culture room.
