    A host of writers

    There is something for every taste ! Like every year, all genres are in the spotlight at the Livr’à Vannes fair, from general and Breton literature, children’s literature, culinary literature, crime fiction, to comics and manga. From Friday May 24 to Sunday May 26, more than 200 authors will be present, among them: Alan Stivell, RJ Ellory, Tatiana de Rosnay, Marc Levy, Pascal Bodéré, Raphaëlle Giordano, Valentin Musso, Jim Fergus…

    Literary prizes

    During the show, three prizes will be awarded: that of the City of Vannes, which rewards a French novel published between September 2022 and March 2023. The Young Adults prize, initiated in 2018, to recognize a French author whose readers are aged 12 at 20 years. The winner will be presented with a check for €1,000.

Finally, the prize for the novel in the Breton language will be awarded, in partnership with the Cultural Institute of Brittany and Emglev Bro Gwened.

    Going to the Livr’à Vannes show is also an opportunity to interact with celebrities! Media personalities are expected. Note the presence of Christophe Dechavanne, Sébastien Le Fol and Mathieu Vidard. And if you’re more into sports than people, Dominique Rocheteau, nicknamed the Green Angel, is also part of the program.

Like every year, times are organized to meet the authors. On the show site, a rich and varied program of events (literary cafés, conferences, workshops, award ceremonies, etc.) is planned. On Friday, May 24, from 4:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., a meeting entitled “Long live sport!” » with Pascal Blanchard, Pascal Berthe, RCV & Cook, Didier Le Corre and Georges Cadiou is notably planned. Saturday for example: from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. “Mysterious Affairs” with Jacques Expert, Joseph Macé-Scaron, Robert Namias, from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., a master class by Marc Levy and from 6 p.m. to 6 p.m. 45 p.m., a conference entitled “The Masters of the Genre” with RJ Ellory, Jim Fergus and Aslak Nore is planned. On Sunday, from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., a meeting with Mathieu Vidard is on the program.
