The Vierzon writer Gilles Magréau publishes a fictionalized biography of Marc Larchevêque, a porcelain maker from the first half of the 20th century.
The typescript was completed and chiselled last summer. The new book by Gilles Magréau, Hello Mr Marc…published by JEJ Édition, appears today on bookstore shelves.
In this “fictionalized biography”, the writer highlights the “singular existence” of the Vierzon porcelain maker Marc Larchevêque (1871-1950). A man of the theater, the author chose the form of dialogue, imagining an exchange with another figure from Vierzon, the journalist André Perrot (1925-2015).

The preface to the work is signed Éric Larchevêque, great-grandson of the porcelain maker, also a successful entrepreneur, with Ledger, among others.
Gilles Magréau intends not to stop there: the book is the first volume in a series of Chronicles of the 20th century in the Vierzon regionand, already, he is preparing the second. A signing session for opus n°1 will take place on Saturday November 9, in Vierzon, at the Le Grand Meaulnes bookstore.
