An increase in the number of books is also proposed on the occasion of the 50th anniversary, for a planned increase from 200,000 to 230,000 pounds since the last edition. New works will replace those sold as the event progresses. “We thought very big” confirms Fabien Jacob, volunteer at the comics area.

The emotion is already there even though the public has not yet arrived! Fabien Jacob is delighted: “it’s beautiful: I think back to the more complicated editions of recent years, even to the one that did not take place in 2020 with Covid.” The 2023 edition also ended with a relative disappointment in terms of attendance, with 31,000 visitors recorded.

The race for nuggets is on. The book fair lasts until Sunday November 3 : the opening takes place from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends. Entry remains free, only the books on offer can be purchased, provided you pay the necessary price!
