Sunday May 5, 1er book and comic book fair organized by Herveline Riou and the Foyer rural de Concots association was a great success. It is true that the place chosen to install the 20 authors was unexpected to say the least: the village church. Having had the necessary authorizations to position themselves in this sacred place, the association’s volunteers were able to install the writers in an optimal manner in order to respect the beauty and atmosphere of the place. They also appreciated the location unanimously. A count of visitors made it possible to draw up a very positive assessment with around 400 people who came to discover the authors, exchange with them, and acquire their signed books, some having sometimes traveled from far away thanks to the large communication campaign carried out even in the neighboring departments. The members of the collegial board of directors of the rural home thank the volunteers who contributed to the success of this 1er book fair as well as the children from the Concots school who participated in the creation of the poster. Find the association’s information on its Facebook page: Concots animations foyer rural as well as on Intramuros.
