Saint-André-de-l’Eure. Great enthusiasm at the book fair..

The Saint-André en Livres fair once again attracted many readers on Saturday. Richard Buhan, president of the Les marches normandes association, estimates attendance at around 400 visitors: “We have only had positive feedback. Whether authors or visitors. The authors are particularly satisfied with the sales made. This is also important”

This is the third year that this literary fair has been held in the city. It benefits from the support of the municipality. The Norman Marches have a long tradition of this type of event. In fact, the structure has been organizing meetings around books for ten years in the municipalities of Eure or Eure-et-Loir.

Nathalie Salmon creates a surprise

Richard Buhan reaffirms: “Reading is a bit in the DNA of our association. We are very attached to it and our aim is to make it accessible to everyone, particularly in rural areas, with our salons, our literary walks, our book boxes…”.

The success of these shows also comes from the surprises it reserves. So, on Saturday, Nathalie Salmon, guest of honor at the show, created a surprise. She revealed her latest work Napoleon and the Normans . Visitors had the privilege of experiencing a first signing session.

Faced with such success, the president announced a fourth edition of Saint-André in books.
