The spiritual book holds a salon in this Normandy abbey

For its season opening, theNotre-Dame de Fontaine-Guérard Abbeysituated at Radepont (Eure), proposes a day dedicated to books and spirituality, which will take place Wednesday May 1, 2024.

“Feminine and spirituality”

For this third edition, on the theme “feminine and spirituality”, the Fontaine-Guérard Abbey offers a program rich in discoveries.

Paule Amblard, historian of medieval art, specializing in the symbolism of images, will chair this new edition. She will also host a conference at 3:30 p.m., on the theme “woman in sacred art”.

Conferences will be offered throughout this day of discussion and sharing with authors and speakers.

Works of art and musical performance

It will also be possible to discover the works of art by Christine Ray, Gilles Merméjean and the icons of Muriel Brebion.

A musical and poetic performance will take place at 5:30 p.m. Leïli Anvar accompanied by Jean-Jacques Lemêtre will present extracts from her musical show “Mystical Women of the East and West”.

Meditation workshop upon registration

Monk at the Saint-Michel du Var monastery, bishop, primate of the French Orthodox church, Monsignor Martin Laplaud will invite meditation during a workshop which will take place from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

– 2:15 p.m.: Mgr Martin Laplaud: Marie and Myriam, two women in Christian spirituality, with the musical participation of Jean-Jacques Lemêtre

– 4:30 p.m.: Sylvie Monpoint “Hildegarde von Bingen”

– 5:30 p.m.: Leïli Anvar accompanied by Jean-Jacques Lemêtre: excerpts from her musical show “Mystical Women of the East and West”

– 6:30 p.m.: poetic reading: Daniel Berghezan
