Dinner with Sinner. Jannik’s US Open begins with the “away” challenge with the American Mackenzie McDonald, 29-year-old number 140 in the world: appointment on the most important court of Flushing Meadows, the Arthur Ashe, after the challenge between Iga Swiatek and Kamilla Rakhimova. It will therefore start with the two number 1s in the world, one after the other: the Polish will play at 6 pm, once the first match is over it will be Sinner’s turn, on the court for the first time after the fuss over the Clostebol case.

Jannik’s match will close the daytime session on Arthur Ashe: the evening session will start no earlier than 1 am with Carlos Alcaraz, on the court with the Australian Li Tu. Finally, the American derby between Shelby Rogers and Jessica Pegula will close the session. On the other courts, as usual, the match will start at 5 pm: lots of Italy on Louis Armstrong, the second most important facility in Flushing Meadows, with the protagonists in the evening session (no earlier than 1 am) being Jasmine Pauline (against Bianca Andreescu) and Lorenzo I’m singingengaged in the difficult test with Tommy Paul but charged after the title won in Winston-Salem. In the daytime session on the Armstrong, from 5 pm, Collins-Dolehide, Ostapenko-Osaka and Medvedev-Lajovic will take place.

Italy will also be a protagonist on other fields. The first to play will be Sara Erraniat 5pm against Bucsa. Second match of the day for Elisabetta Cockerelagainst Baindl. On court 10 it will be Fabio’s turn first Fognini (against Machac, second match) and then to Matteo Arnaldiagainst Svajda. While they will play during the Italian night both Flavio Cobolli (engaged with Duckworth) both Mattia Bellucciwho after passing the qualifications will face Stan Wawrinka. The US Open matches will be broadcast on SuperTennis (and the SuperTenniX platform) and Sky Sport.
