This Wednesday, September 4, TF1 is broadcasting a new fiction – Monk, the return – featuring a character that viewers are familiar with. This is in fact the OCD-stricken investigator Adrian Monk, the hero of an American series of eight seasons, originally broadcast in the United States between 2002 and 2009. At the risk of disappointing fans, a priori, the fiction will not have any other development. Indeed, Tony Shalhoub had indicated to Tele-Leisure : “We’re going to bring him back for one and only time, after 14 years of absence.“However, you should never say never in the world of series.
