The first week of September will be a changeable one in our country. More and more showers will follow, but the temperature will often still be at a pleasant level. How heavy the showers can be, you can read in this weekly forecast.
This Monday we still have to deal with warm and sultry summer weather. With maximum temperatures between 24 and 28 degrees, a few rain and thunderstorms will develop later today, which can be locally heavy. You can read all the details about these showers in our extensive weather report.
Significantly less warm on Tuesday
In the night to Tuesday it will cool down to 16 to 18 degrees and there will be a few showers at first. Tuesday during the day will again be slightly changeable throughout the country: dry periods will alternate with showers. There will be quite a lot of cloud but the sun will also break through now and then. The maximum temperatures will be around 22 degrees on the coast and in the Ardennes. In the big cities and the north of our country it will be a maximum of around 25 degrees. During showers it will of course be a few degrees cooler.
Locally heavy rain on Wednesday
Wednesday will be partly cloudy over the western half of our country with occasional showers. Elsewhere there will be more cloud and especially in the eastern regions it can sometimes rain for a longer period of time. There, 10 to 20 millimeters of precipitation is possible locally. It will be slightly less warm than the previous days with maximums between 19 degrees during rainfall and 21 or 22 degrees when the sun breaks through. The southwesterly wind will be weak to moderate, but will turn to west to northwest later in the day.
Thursday temporarily drier
Thursday will again be slightly changeable summer weather with an alternation of showers and periods of sun. The uncertainties are still great but it will probably be 20 to 23 degrees with a moderate northeasterly wind. Later in the afternoon the chance of showers will gradually decrease and it will certainly become sunnier over the west of our country.
Weekend: warmer, sometimes a shower
The temperature forecast for Friday and next weekend is still somewhat uncertain, because the summery warm air will come very close to our country again. The maxima can rise to 25 to 27 degrees with an easterly wind with regular sunshine. When the wind blows more from the north to northeast, it will remain a lot less warm with maxima around 22 degrees.
The weather picture further consists of sunny periods and large cumulus clouds. From time to time a heavy shower develops with a chance of thunder. How much precipitation can fall here is still unclear at this time.
