New York, September 2, 2024 – Jannik Sinner wants to return to the quarterfinals of the US Open, a milestone he has not reached since 2022. The world number one faces the third American in this edition of the tournament played on the hard courts of Flushing Meadows. Last year and in 2021, however, the Italian’s journey was interrupted in the round of 16, at the hands – in both cases – of Alexander ZverevIn 2019 and 2020, the 23-year-old from San Candido failed to make it past the first round, falling to the mat against Stan Wawrinka e Karen Khachanov.
