It is one of the most cherished traditions of the Monegasques. This Saturday, September 7, Prince Albert, his wife, Charlene, and their children, Jacques and Gabriella, attended the U Cavagnëtu picnic, in the Princess Antoinette Park. This traditional and friendly annual event is reserved for the citizens of Monaco. During the festivities, the privileged were able to enjoy the U Cantin d’A Roca choir or the music of Lionel Vaudano, as well as the dancers of La Palladienne, dressed in folkloric outfits, and barbecues. Those present could help themselves to socca, ice cream, Monegasque fougasses or other treats offered by the Monaco City Hall. This year, the picnic then transformed into a dance ball.

On this occasion, the Monegasque princely family appeared at the entrance to the park, accompanied by the mayor of Monaco, Georges Marsan, with his wife, and members of the municipal council. Charlene of Monaco had opted for a magnificent asymmetrical red jumpsuit. A fluid and comfortable outfit in the colours of the principality. By wearing this piece, the princess left one of her shoulders bare. She highlighted her slim waist with a wide brown belt. The bottom of the jumpsuit flared down to her ankles, elongating her silhouette. At her side, the wife of Prince Albert put on a pair of pointed brown heels, recalling the colour of her belt. As for accessories, she preferred to remain sober by simply wearing a pair of fine and dangling gold earrings from the jeweller Vanrycke. For her part, her daughter Gabriella wore a lovely little white summer dress. His son, Jacques, was a copy of his father, Prince Albert. Both were dressed in suits consisting of beige trousers, a white shirt and a blue suit jacket.

Charlene of Monaco: the princess is a fan of combinations

The Princess of Monaco seems to appreciate jumpsuits. It must be said that they are perfect for enhancing the silhouette. On Saturday, September 7, on the occasion of the Crossing: Calvi-Monaco, charity run for the Princess Foundation, Charlene greeted the athletes as they arrived at Larvotto Beach in Monaco. She wore a stunning Diane von Furstenberg jumpsuit with printed patterns, leaving her shoulders bare. Last July, before the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, she went to the Élysée Palace wearing a white short-sleeved jumpsuit by Louis Vuitton. A few days earlier, she looked stunning in a red Elie Saab couture jumpsuit at the La Flamme Olympiques au fil du temps exhibition at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco. In June, at the closing of the 63rd Monte-Carlo Festival, she opted for a white jumpsuit, also by Elie Saab. A designer she had already called upon for the 2024 Rose Ball, during which she looked resplendent in a sequined jumpsuit.
