After Eupen’s qualification yesterday evening, the rest of the round of 32 of the cup was on the programme for this Saturday.
Eupen had a close call last night, but finally validated its ticket for the 7th round of the Belgian Cup (read here).
RWDM will accompany the Pandas to the next round following their large 5-0 victory against Aywaille, thanks to goals from De Sousa (double), Robail and Kwasi, all this after an own goal from Aywaille in the first moments of the game.
The Francs Borains are already saying goodbye to the cup, defeated in Tubize-Braine (2-1), just like Binche who was beaten by the Patro by the same score.
Finally, the Walloon clash between Mons and La Louvière was decided by penalties after a score of 1-1 at the end of regulation time. The goals of the match were scored by Bongiovanni before the break and the equalizer came from Kumbi for Albert, shortly before the hour mark. The Wolves won the penalty shootout with a score of 5-6 and advanced to the next round.
