Meanwhile, the top seeds in the men’s and women’s draws — No. 1 Jannik Sinner of Italy and No. 1 Iga Świątek of Poland — have each cruised to the quarterfinals and appear to be in top form.

The quarterfinals take place today and tomorrow, with the women’s semifinals scheduled for Thursday and the men’s semifinals set for Friday. Here’s the schedule for today’s quarterfinal matches:

Viewers in the UK will be able to stream all 16 courts and more than 135 hours of US Open action through Sky Sports, which has the exclusive live broadcast rights for this year’s tournament.
