In a recent interview, director Venkat Prabhu justified the lengthy runtime and promised a fun-filled commercial entertainer for fans. ‘GOAT’ will hit theatres on September 5 in multiple languages amid massive expectations. This is Vijay’s penultimate film before he enters politics full-time.

Director Venkat Prabhu, in an interview with Cineulagamexpressed his thoughts about the three-hour runtime of ‘GOAT’. Admitting that ‘GOAT’ is a fast-paced film, he mentioned the discussion about the film’s runtime within the team.

He said that the team was initially apprehensive about the runtime as it exceeded three hours. Venkat Prabhu, however, explained the necessity to stick to the runtime to narrate ‘GOAT’s’ story. He also stated that it was impossible to tell an elaborate story within three hours.
