“He’s lost!” Dugarry’s big tackle on Mbappé, in conflict with PSG

A very hectic start to the season for Kylian Mbappé. After lackluster performances with Real Madrid and the French team, the 25-year-old player continues his standoff with his former club, PSG. The cause is 55 million euros in unpaid wages (salaries and bonuses) that he is demanding and that his former management does not want to pay.

While the conflict could be settled before the industrial tribunal, Christophe Dugarry believes that responsibilities are shared: “What bothers me is all the smoke and mirrors that were made around their relationship,” regretted Duga in Rothen s’enflamme, Thursday on RMC. “We realize now that everything was false, fake. There was an acting on both sides that is unbearable. The two clans served us the soup they wanted when they wanted it. It’s a football that makes you sick!”

Dugarry: “He doesn’t play football anymore, he doesn’t think about football anymore!”

The 98 world champion is not, however, gentle with the new Real Madrid player, who has spread himself too thin according to him: “Today, Kylian Mbappé’s problem is that he has lost himself so much with what is around football. All the simplicity that was his strength before, when he only thought about football…. Now, he thinks about everything except football: his image, his money, what he is going to say, what he represents, the French team. You have lost everything and you are exploding in mid-flight. He no longer plays football, he no longer thinks about football! He only thinks about politics and giving his opinion! He is lost! You can be the most mature, the most brilliant and the most intelligent guy in the world, when you no longer concentrate on your job, your sport, everything that happens around you disturbs you. He may tell us that no, he was disturbed and it is logical.” For Duga, Mbappé deserves to go to the bench given his recent performances on the pitch.
