The French Basketball Federation (FFBB) has formalized the list of the 10 French youth teams for the summer of 2025. It includes the established federal technicians, Stanislas Hacquard, Julien Egloff, Nicolas Absalon and Vincent Bourdeau in the youngest categories, most of the players of this generation are still under the yoke of the Federation.
From the U18 men's and U19 women's teams, the technical management relies on club technicians. This is how Elise Prodhomme succeeds Régis Boissié on the U18s, for whom she was the assistant at Euro U18 2024, after leading the U20 women to the title of 2023 European champion. If among the U19 women Aurélie Bonnan will continue the work undertaken with the 2006-2007 generation on the Euro U18 2024, Ruddy Nelhomme will take on the difficult challenge among the U19 men. The former assistant coach of Vincent Collet in the France A team will prepare for a World Cup where the Bleuets will certainly have to do without their two leaders Nolan Traoré (1.91 m, 18 years old) and Noa Essengue (2.05 m, 17 years), expected at the next Draft.
Finally, in U20, Emmanuel Body, coach of La Roche Vendée in LFB, will take care of the girls while Mickaël Hay succeeds Guillaume Vizade for the boys, as announced. A logical handover since the current coach of Élan Béarnais was neither more nor less than Guillaume Vizade's assistant coach in recent summers.
