Opening of the National Volleyball Championship for young people 2025

28 teams of young men and women in volleyball attended the opening ceremony.

Comrade Duong Thi Ngoc Tho, vice-president of the provincial Popular council of Tra vinh, offered flowers to male football teams participating in the tournament.

The National Championship of Volleyball of young people 2025 attracts 13 male teams (under 20 years of age) and 15 female teams (under 19) of localities and units across the country.

Teams will be Divided into 2 groups for men and 3 groups for women in a tournament format around. Then select the teams with good results to participate in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final.

Comrade Nguyen Quynh Thien, vice-president of the Popular Provincial Committee of Tra Vinh, offered flowers to women’s football teams participating in the tournament.

Speaking during the tournament opening ceremony, Mr. Cao Quoc Dung, deputy director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tra Vinh, said that this year’s tournament took place in a joyful and exciting atmosphere of the country celebrating the major birthdays of the country; Celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh. In particular, for Tra vinh, this is an opportunity for the province to be honored by the president’s decision to award him the Ho Chi Minh medal and by the Prime Minister’s decision to recognize the province for having accomplished the construction of a new rural area.

Comrade Cao Quoc Dung, deputy director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tra Vinh, delivered the opening speech.

In order for the tournament to be a success, the comrade Cao Quoc Dung asked the members of the organizing committee and the referees to strictly apply the rules, regulations and assigned tasks. In the execution of tasks, show sense of responsibility, make every effort possible and manage the tournament in a scientific, fair and precise manner.

So that athletes do their best with a sporting, united, honest and noble spirit; Dedicate the public of good matches, beautiful plays, create a high quality tournament in terms of expertise and attractive in the hearts of fans.

Comrade Kien Soc Kha, deputy chief of the propaganda and mass mobilization department of the provincial committee of the tra vinh party, offered souvenir flags to football teams participating in the tournament.

After the opening ceremony, the tournament continued with the Masculine A group A match between the host team Tra Vinh and the Ben Tre team. The match was exciting from the start and after 1 hour and 49 minutes of play, the TRA Vinh team won the final match with a 3 – 1 score, the game scores being respectively: 25/17, 31/33, 25/21 and 25/20.

The organizers offered flowers and thanked the prize sponsors.

During the group E match of the female tournament which took place later, coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa and his team, VTV Binh Dien Long An, won 3-0 against the team of Quang Ninh (25/15, 25/10 and 25/17).

Meanwhile, the results of the four games that took place before the opening ceremony were as follows: The Thai Binh women’s team beat the Thanh Hoa 3-0 women’s team; The men of Binh Duong beat those of Ha Tinh 3-1; The women of Ninh Binh beat the women of Hung Yen 3-0 and the men of the Skh Pearl Net Khanh Hoa beat the men of long year 3-0.

The tournament will take place continuously every day, from May 4 to 18 with a total of 80 games. The female final is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. And the male final is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. May 18. After that, the organizing committee will summarize and award prices.
