The anticipation of your baby is overshadowed by a hospital stay: Franzi Schmidt, freshly separated from the 14 -year younger Saris, is currently in the clinic with a burst fruit bladder.
A baby on the way and the relationship at the end: Franzi Schmidt, known from “Goodbye Germany”, awaits a child from her ex-partner Saris-only weeks after the separation. Now the 37-year-old lies in a Berlin clinic and hopes for a stable pregnancy.
Franzi Schmidt pregnant after separation – her ex claims the child
A fresh start under palm trees-that was Franzi’s dream when she emigrated to Zanzibar with 23-year-old Saris. She lived with him on the island for two years, but confidence in the relationship was crumbling. Treatery news on his cell phone finally destroyed the last bit of hope. Franzi separated and returned to Berlin. But shortly before the final end, the 37-year-old learned: she is pregnant and of all things from the man from whom she is solving. Now Saris even suddenly claims the unborn child. As “Goodbye Germany” star Franzi reveals, the child’s father automatically has custody.
“I was completely shocked”: Franzi’s freed -bubble burst too early
In a moving video message from a Berlin clinic, Franzi talks about her unexpected hospital stay. Her amniotic sac burst two months early-a shock for the 37-year-old. “I got to the hospital at 8 p.m. last night because the bubble jumped. I was completely shocked. I only got the last 24 hours in the autopilot.”
Franzi is under constant medical observation, has to take antibiotics three times a day and has already received a lung maturity injection. Her feelings are currently fluctuating strongly: “I’m just completely finished,” she says openly.
Franzi from “Goodbye Germany”: “I’m all day between howling and keeping up”
The plan: At least four to five weeks, she should now stay in the hospital – hoping to keep the baby in the womb as long as possible. But everyday life in the clinic bed is emotionally stressful. “I am between howling and keeping up all day. I hope everything will be fine.”
Fortunately, she gets family support: her mother has arrived and lovingly takes care of Franzi’s little son.
Relief: Franzi’s daughter is born
But then the good news: Franzi’s daughter was born on February 13, 2025, and healthy. The Instagram account of “Goodbye Germany” writes: “We are very pleased that Franzi is doing well and also the baby. Despite the early birth, everything went well and we wish you all the best!”
