TV news : What did you feel when Denis Brogniart turned off your torch?
Joana : Oddly, it lasted a fraction of a second. I was divided between relief and disappointment, all of a sudden.
Why was it a relief?
Simply because I was not going to hear the criticisms anymore. It was a relief to finally be able to cut these moments which are complicated on the camp because of people who have only criticized rather than valuing the things I could do. That day, it was really a very difficult day mentally.
The strategy with the Blues and Maxime seemed to be running. However, you found yourself in danger. What happened?
I have already lost the immunity test, so it shot me in the foot. After that, that day, I did not fight at all. Physically, I couldn’t hold. Mentally, I was put an arrow in the brain and I was disappointed with others. We still tried everything: search for necklace, try to make strategies to turn the head of certain people, which did not work. We were two small pieces of meat. With Claire, we were wanted to the left, we were wanted to the right. The goal of the two blocks was to move forward and oust ourselves at some point. Even before reunification, naïs and I were the two heads to shoot down. So unfortunately, that day, the only solution was to make a fight against naive, even if it was backwardness because I loved it. It was a little stone thrown in the water because I knew it was not afraid. We had three options. We had to choose the third because nothing had worked before. It’s like that, it’s Koh manure.
-Why did you choose not to join the alliance of Greens and Oranges from the start, as Frédéric you advised it?
I wanted to move forward with the people with whom I had the most affinities and who looked most, quite simply. I saw that on the other side, we were more wanted to eliminate blue and not necessarily because we were appreciated. As we could see in Koh manurepeople tell a lot. I had a lot of echo vis-à-vis me, on the fact that people did not like me before I even know me. Blues are people who get to know others and who are not based only on on-said. They were much more solar and it hung much more. So, it was not a strategic choice because perhaps at that time we would have been on the other side, but it would have wanted to be a false cul from start to finish and I would have been incapable.
Although your teammates have all recognized your adventurer qualities, all voted against you with the exception of your friend Claire. How do you explain it?
It’s lunar. Regarding the Blues, I forgive them because they had to protect their alliance. On the other hand, the oranges and the Greens made reflections that naive did nothing on the camp and these same people also made me reflections because I was doing too much. With the oranges and the Greens, we were not compatible.
Do you think that voting against Louise, a great girlfriend of green girls, has damaged you?
Frankly, that wouldn’t have changed anything although, I must admit, it added a small drop in the vase. Anyway, there would always have been an excuse to vote against me. When there is a storm and that I am told: ‘She burned all the wood, I cannot manage the breath that is blowing and consumes the wood. It was just reflections like that.
If it had to be done again, do you want to change something?
No, because if it happened like that, it was because it should be. If I had known what was going to happen, in this case, I would not have put the name of naïs, knowing that in any case, it was I who came out. If I had something to change, that would be it. Put another name, just to say: ‘I have not betrayed the blue alliance to the end’, even if it is not really betrayal, because in the episode, we can see that some bruises also sell me a little bit to oranges.
