The Caneser Festival projected the first episode of Nothing fades youthe adaptation of Michel Bussi’s novel with Gwendoline Hamon, Fauve Hautot and Benjamin Baroche. Our opinion.
“Whatever I do. Wherever I am. Nothing fades you. I think of you“… The refrain of Jean-Jacques Goldman’s song fits perfectly with the novel Nothing fades you From Michel Bussi published in the city press and sold more than 500,000 copies in France. Six years after adapting Time is assassinanother successful novel by the Norman author, TF1 will soon broadcast the adaptation of Nothing fades youpublished in 2021. The realization was entrusted to Jérôme Cornuau to whom we owe The mystery of the lake, The lake killer et Fear on the lake on TF1, and more recently the TV movie Breathe On M6. The writing of the new TF1 series was entrusted to Anne Rambach, Marine Rambach and Patrick Renault with the participation of Michel Bussi. The first episode was screened during the Caneser Festival.
Nothing fades you : What is the series about with Gwendoline Hamon, Fauve Hautot and Benjamin Baroche?
Ten years after the tragic death of his son Esteban, Maddi meets Tom, a young boy who is strangely like him. Intrigued, she moved from her native Basque country to get closer to the child in Auvergne. She quickly discovered that in addition to physical resemblance, Tom has reminiscences and visions of Souvenirs d’Esteban. When a series of murders shakes the peaceful region, Maddi can’t help but ask: are these events linked to the death of his son? Who is really Tom and what is his link with Esteban?
Nothing fades you : Fauve Hautot at the top in the adaptation of Michel Bussi
It’s Gwendoline Hamon, the star of Cassandre which plays the role of Maddi. We also find Benjamin Baroche – Absent D‘Here it all starts for the occasion – as well as Samy Gharbi, who had also been absent from Tomorrow belongs to us During this shoot. This first episode lays down the basics of this story which may seem improbable on paper. After a slightly slow start, everything accelerates when Maddi leaves the Basque Country for Auvergne. Our favorite returns to Fauve Hautot (which has just reacted to Lénie’s victory in Dance with the stars). His duo with Bruno Debrandt works wonderfully and makes the salt of this series of six 52 -minute episodes, which we will discover very soon on TF1.
