Three days before the commemorations of victory over Nazi Germany, Russia was targeted, on the night of Monday to Tuesday, by important attacks of Ukrainian drones. The functioning of airports in several major cities in the country has been disrupted.
Ukraine launched in the night of Monday, 5 to Tuesday, May 6, major attacks on drones on Russian territory, targeting Moscow in particular and disturbing the operation of a dozen airports.
While the Russian capital welcomes a large military parade in the presence of Vladimir Putin on Friday and about twenty foreign leaders, its mayor Sergei Sobianine said that 19 drones targeting it had been intercepted by anti-aircraft defense. He said that debris had dropped on a large avenue south of Moscow, adding that there was no victim identified as it is.
The Russian media broadcast images of a cracked supermarket showcase and a blackened residential building facade.
