“According to preliminary data, there are at least seven dead and more than 20 injured,” he added.
In a separate message, still on Telegram, he accused the Ukrainian army of having sent new drones after the first wave of the attack to “complete the survivors” on the spot.
He published an alleged video of the attacks of the attack, filmed from the air and not authenticated, showing scrolls of smoke escaping from small buildings.
The city of Olechky, which had around 20,000 inhabitants before the Russian -scale Russian offensive in Ukraine launched in 2022, is on the eastern bank of the Dnipro river, which is occupied in this sector by Moscow.
It is located a few kilometers east of Kherson, the regional capital, which had also been won over by Moscow before being taken over in the fall of 2022 by the Ukrainian army.
The Dnipro river marks in this area the front line and drone attacks, on both sides, are constant and very regularly make civilian victims.
