


The third edition of the Gitex Africa Morocco, which is held from April 14 to 16 in Marrakech, was marked by a notable crowd of African participants from all over the continent. Start-ups, institutions, entrepreneurs and investors converged on the ocher city, testifying to the growing importance of this continental meeting in the African technological ecosystem.
A real growth catalyst, the Gitex Africa offers a strategic space for networking, collaboration and opening to new markets. The 2025 edition has established itself as a reference platform for digital players, who come to expose their know-how, explore new development tracks and strengthen Africa’s place on the world tech chessboard.
A dynamic praised by African participants
For Abdulrahman Gambo, CEO of the Nigerian company Gyronics, the event represents “a formidable opportunity for growth and expansion”. He praised “the impressive role of Morocco as a regional innovation engine” and underlined the unique opportunity offered by this fair to establish strategic contacts on a continental scale.
Condé Noumouké, Deputy Managing Director of the National Backbone Management and Operating Company (SOGEB), in Guinea, has highlighted the strong influx around its stand, seeing an opportunity to make the national program “Simandou 2040” known. He also recalled the solidity of the Moroccan-Guinean links, stressing that Guinea took part in all previous editions of the show.
On the Gabon side, Gauthier Morel Mint Mintsa Mi Owono, an engineer specializing in Big Data and artificial intelligence, praised the richness of exchanges and the diversity of solutions presented: “I discovered companies with various expertise, from cloud to cybersecurity via AI. Morocco, an African innovation platform
Organized under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Gitex Africa Morocco 2025 confirmed its rise in power. Supported by the Ministry of Digital Transition and the Reform of the Administration in partnership with the Digital Development Agency (ADD), the event has multiplied innovative initiatives and sectoral conferences.
The stated objective remains unchanged, namely to federate governments, businesses, start-ups and investors around a common ambition for digital technology in Africa.
