new month, new rules! May 1 does not only bring strands of thrush and a welcome holiday. Indeed, several new measures change the situation for families : social assistance, wages, consumption … Here is what to remember to start the month on the right foot.
Gas: a downward invoice for certain households
Good news for households that heat gas: the regulated rate fell in May. The kilowatt hour goes from € 0.12,412 to € 0.1162, a drop of 6.4 %. Farm households only for hot water and cooking will also benefit from a drop, the price of KWH Going from € 0.1530 to € 0.1451 (-5.16 %).
But beware, only contracts at indexed prices are affected. The fixed price offers will not benefit from this decrease.
Social aid: payment of revalued amounts
The new amounts of several aids paid by CAF, revalued by 1.7 % in April to follow inflation, will be visible from the payment of May 5. Here are the main changes:

The disabled adult allowance (AAH) increases to € 1,033.32 (against € 1,013.05 before)
