This April 16, 2025, Météo France announces first orange vigilance for rain flood in Corsica. The Hans storm takes over from its cousin, called Olivier, and risks causing showers and thunderstorms in the southern half of France all weekend.

This precipitation could lead to risks, this is what justifies orange vigilance. With this alert level: “Important floods are possible in the usually floodable areas, on all the hydrological basins of the departments concerned.” Current cuts can also occur.
