Tsahal’s chief of staff, Lieutenant-General Eyal Zamir, passed his Seder de Passah with the Nahal Brigade recognition unit at Mevi Dotan, in the West Bank, during which he told the troops that the return of all hostages was the “supreme task” of the army.
“We think of the 59 hostages always retained in Gaza. Bringing them back is our top priority, and all that we do in Gaza aims to release hostages and overcome Hamas, “he said, according to a TSAhal declaration.
Zamir had brought with him the “Haggadah of Liberty”-produced by the Forum of hostage families-which the old hostage and ex-soldier Naama Levy had given him the day before.

The general of Division Ori Gordin, chief of the northern command, passed the Seder with the Duchifat battalion of the KFIR brigade, at the base of Dovev in northern Israel, as well as with residents of Kibbutz Sasa.
The head of the southern command, General Yaniv Asor, was with the Givati brigade in Rafah, while General Avi Bluth, head of the center command, joined the 50ᵉ Battalion of the Nahal Brigade in the Hébron region.
