Ukraine and the Netherlands agreed to cooperate to build a sustainable, safe and competitive Ukrainian energy system.
“The representatives of the Netherlands have proposed technical assistance to Ukraine to prepare for the integration of its electricity market into the European market and also proposed the organization of a commercial mission on the development of sustainable energy in Ukraine. It should be noted that during the first Ukrainian-Dutch intergovernmental conference on the support for European integration of Ukraine, representatives of the Ministry of Energy informed the Dutch Part of the measures taken by Ukraine on the path of integration into European energy markets.
The parties have notably discussed the implementation of European legislation, as well as development in the following areas: electricity, biomethane, renewable energy sources, gas and oil, energy efficiency, tranceuropée networks, etc.
