Until April 28, travelers and city residents will be able to admire 30 photographs in large format near the station of Fontainebleau-Avon. This exhibition offers an immersion in the world of spring sports, one of the major events among the most important French equestrian sports calendar.
The location of these photographs is unprecedented. This exhibition highlights the ease of access to the Pays de Fontainebleau By train, a real cultural and tourist gateway, especially through this international sporting meeting, in the legendary place of Parquet.
The spring of equestrian sports, accessible to all!
The event will take place from Next April 27always in the majestic setting of the Grand Parquet. To promote access to this sport, edition 2025 is once again completely free and in FREE ENTRANCE. Throughout the year, the Grand Parquet welcomes multiple equestrian competitions.
Last year, the spring of equestrian sports 2024 was the training ground for the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. So that the public can go to the event, the agglomeration of Fontainebleau makes every effort to facilitate access from Paris and without a car! Fostering movement in an ecological and economical way is a priority that the city has been wearing for many years.
-Only 40 minutes from Transilien from Paris Gare de Lyon, it is almost easier to come to the big air in Fontainebleau than to cross Paris! For the occasion of Spring of equestrian sportsthe Grand Parquet will be served by free shuttles from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 April, thus connecting the station to the place of the event. They will be set up by the Fontainebleau tourist office. The Pays de Fontainebleau offers exhibitions all year round. This installation of photography dedicated to the global elite of French horsemen of equestrian sports is part of a continuous artistic programmed by Fontainebleau Tourisme.
Two new exhibitions will take over in the coming months:
From the May 5the Austrian artist Yvonne Oswald, as part of the art history festival, will present Topographies of the ephemerala series of photographs questioning the relationship between man and nature;
From the June 14an exhibition in connection with the next Django Reinhardt festival (June 26-29) will conclude this cultural season in style.
