The Tennis Club Montceau organized its pickleball tournament this Sunday, April 13. 25 teams of 2 players, from 7 to (over) 77, from the whole department, met all day in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
Despite rainy forecasts and therefore a meal envisaged indoors, the weather also came to embellish the day and the players, supporters and volunteers were able to enjoy couscous outdoors.
The final of the tournament opposed the locals Nicolas and Jules to the Etngeois César and Fabien. The latter won at the end of a beautiful match, 2 rounds at 1.
The TC Montceau is one of the pilot clubs in the practice of pickleball, a sport from the USA and now affiliated with the French Tennis Federation. Less physically traumatic than tennis, it allows you to be practiced by a large number of people of all ages, while remaining a lively and spectacular sport when practiced in a competitive way.
