What release date for the PC version?

If many gamers are still waiting for GTA 6 on consoles, PC players may wait a little longer.

The recent information on the postponement of GTA 6 has caused many edges on the Internet and, more particularly, social networks. If many players have expressed their dissatisfaction following the announcement of Rockstar Studios to refine their next title, some may well expect even more.

The next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series is now not planned before May 2026. This only concerns the living room consoles! GTA 6 is from Ores-et-Déj a confirmed to go out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The owners of PS4 and Xbox One will therefore have to go to the checkout and equip themselves with a state -of -the -art console in order to enjoy the game. No version Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 has been confirmed or even mentioned by developers at this stage.

But what about players who have a PC? If the official configurations are not yet available to find out if your machine will be compatible, Rockstar has not mentioned the case of the PC for the release of GTA 6.

It is however possible to project yourself on an release date for GTA 6 on PC by observing the habits of the studios in terms of game outings. Usually Rockstar offers the PC version of its new titles a year after their initial release on living room consoles. If the studio therefore sticks to its habits, the PC version of GTA 6 will be available by May 2027. This information obviously remains to be taken with tweezers, but this is the strategy adopted by Rockstar for its latest big title, Red Dead Redemption 2 (released in October 2018 on Consoles and October 2019 on PC).
